KILIMANJARO & MOUNT MERU, TANZANIA
The Ultimate African Summit Adventure
Kilimanjaro is undeniably one of the world’s most iconic mountains. Standing at 5,895m, it’s the highest peak in Africa and the tallest freestanding mountain on the planet—rising an incredible 4,900m from base to summit. It’s no wonder it holds a place among the famed Seven Summits.
But before we take on this legendary giant, our journey begins with an ascent of Mount Meru—Africa’s fifth-highest peak at 4,566m. Often overshadowed by its famous neighbour, Meru is a spectacular climb in its own right, offering sweeping views, abundant wildlife, and beautifully varied trails.
This isn’t just a warm-up. Our Mount Meru climb forms a vital part of your acclimatisation, giving your body time to adjust gradually to altitude. It sets you up with a far smoother transition than tackling Kilimanjaro alone, providing a crucial advantage before we make our push for the Roof of Africa.

MOUNT TOUBKAL, MOROCCO
The Ideal Short Exped Or First Foray To Altitude
Standing at 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains—and all of North Africa.
Just a short flight from the UK, Morocco feels worlds away. The moment you enter the Atlas, you’re surrounded by dramatic landscapes, ancient villages, and a culture as vibrant as the scenery. It’s adventure from the very first step.
This expedition is ideal for keen hikers ready for their first multi-day trek or a taste of altitude. It’s challenging enough to feel like a real achievement, but never overwhelming—especially with our expert team supporting you.
While shorter itineraries exist, our 8-day route offers better acclimatisation, a higher chance of summit success, and a deeper experience of Morocco’s incredible mountains and culture.
Outside summit day, the trekking is manageable, the food is excellent, and you’ll finish with time to explore the sights and flavours of Marrakech. We run summer trips outside the hottest months for ideal conditions, and can also arrange bespoke departures year-round.
For those seeking extra challenge, our winter expeditions transform Toubkal into a snow-covered alpine adventure—perfect for the more ambitious trekker.
